The most professional doctor in the business, thrives on challenge and will leave no stone unturned. I’ve struggled for years and no doctor could get to the bottom of my health issues until I found her, Thank you for your making me feel better Dr Ntshwana and giving me back my “quality” of life.

Dr Ntshwana treated my dad at Mediclinic Sandton in July 2020. She communicated with me even though we couldn't visit dad or contact him directly due to COVID. Dad passed away on the 24/07/2020, I know doctor and her team tried their best :)

I was referred by one of my good doctor's to book an appointment with, Dr. Ntshwana. Upon meeting her, all my health concerns were put at ease. She has an amazing chatty personality and and a strong educational background and this made me believe I had found the best doctor there was. I genuinely think she's great with the technical aspect of the work; it's the communication that I find frustrating. I have often felt like I'm attending a public hospital with a fancy office and hefty price tag. I'm greatly disappointed to give such a review - my expectations were high and I feel let down. I've been to quite a few doctors and I've received world class service. I'm able to email and get feedback. Some I can WhatsApp and whenever available, they get back to me. This is simply to get questions I might have missed out during the consultation answered when I'm in my home, cause a doctor's office can be intimidating. I don't know if Dr. has a priority list that determines who she needs to attend to with urgency but an email to let me know that she's received my comms would go a long way... I'd be willing to even pay for her time to respond to the questions that pop up much later when I have left the office.

Personal experience not good at all. Minimal effort is the best way I can describe my experience with this gastroenterologist. I suffer from a chronic condition called Crohn's disease and whilst in the middle of a flare up I went to her for a consultation and to check my stool and I got very little, no sorry, I got nothing out of it. After a chat in her office she told me to go for a stool test so she could get check it. After a week of deteriorating I followed up twice with her receptionist who told me that nothing had returned from the labs, in my second call to her she said she would follow up and tried to rush me off the phone, knowing that I hadn't given her my name yet I asked her whose results she was going to follow up on, she only then asked, 'sorry, so who am I talking to?'. Anyway, I was then admitted into hospital a few days later and spent 8 days hospitalised (from a sever flare up that had been brewing for weeks but of course had gone undetected, despite visiting a specialist). I came out after 8 days, it's been about 5 weeks since I last saw 'Dr' Ntshwana Kgaogelo Rachel and I still have not received these results - just the bill from the labs. My husband actually went in today to find out how she could be so irresponsible and she showed no care and just said she tried to call - I'm not sure who she tried to call, I received no calls from that office from the moment I dropped R1,900 and walked out. Look, if you're looking for a chat then sure thing, go to her. If you're looking for medical advice for a chronic condition I would definitely suggest you DO NOT go to her. Your health and life are worth more than what can come out of the consultation. I mean, there is literally no care or expertise I experienced here. I am just thankful I am alive to tell the story after my awful ordeal.
