It's a nice place to chill and have fun with friends. I enjoyed my peaceful walk along the lagoon and the view.
Fabulous, free, public facility. Barbeque place's and ablution facilities provided. Enjoy the lagoon, Palmiet river and fabulous beach.
Awesome place, best to get there early and also take not of the age of the moon. You want high tide to be early, then you'll enjoy the rivers mouth.
A little bit misty and cold but otherwise it's ok

Excellent place for family day camping
Rather than take the usual hike from the bridge just before Kleinmond, which as you face the river mouth is on the left of the bridge, we took the track on the right hand side, having crossed the bridge going back in the direction of Betty's Bay. The parking at Fairy Glen is spacious. This is an easy track, without the scrambling which those of us with short legs have to do on the other track. Once at the river mouth take a break for a snack as we did before returning the same way or by doing the circular route which takes you past the sewage works. ( On the day in question the odour was quite pungent).
