Be careful for the accounts department. I was handed over to a debt collector for a small amount of money that was not paid to casualty in June 2019. I was never issued with a bill nor contacted to make payment. They usually never let you leave a hospital without making a payment. And a form had to be filled which had all my details before you can ever be admitted. I was contacted by a debt collector in February 2021 about being handed over. I called KPH accounts and was told by a lady in the accounts that she cant help me at all as the file was sent to the debt collector. I wanted to know what was pending as most of that bill was paid by medical aid and i wanted to know what was outstanding and what is was for. I was never told about any outstanding payments until i got the call from the debt collector. She said once again that she cannot assist and put the phone down on me. Useless accounts department. If her job was done correctly in the first place, I would have never been placed in this situation.Be careful. And may i point out that i am never late with any payments. Always do their job and ask if there is any outstanding amounts payable before you leave.

I agree with those that posted on their useless accounts department. Also had the same scenario being handed over to debt collectors for a measly amount and didn't even know the was an outstanding balance. Every effort to get them to correct flaws in their system and processes has proved futile. Obviously some very inefficient people work there. Rather save your self the hassle and drive to Ballito.

Staff don’t care about patients, if no money, then you just a no body, and you get thrown out on the pavement to do things on your own. We had to call ambulance our selves to assist us from this hospital

I had a terrible expirience with hospital staff, they were too busy to attend to me(God knows doing what), starved and the discharge process took longer than needed. But the hospital is very clean.

Horrible service. My oldee sister is told to find a hospital that will treat her liver condition. Why cant they transfer her! Is she suppose to drive herself door to door trying to find that hospital and in the process risk being infected with covid! Yes our health care system is under pressure but let us all be treated fairly! I am highly disappointed!

I took my father there on the 31st dr tells me my father won't see past 3 days because hospital does not have ICU life support equipment. He says if somebody dies we will put your father in the machine

Facilities are great. Great start. However still a bit to be done staffing wise. But good service.
