️ A beautiful sandy and windy beach, clean and safe . The breakers are impressive. Apparently a hot spot for kite-flying and kite-surfing. Parking could become an issue.I often made a short break to visit the beach while driving from Umhlanga Rocks towards Ballito. The M4 is an amazing road along the coast line.

Sheltered lagoon great for learning SUP and for kayaking. Safety would be a concern if I was on my own but a pleasant enough place.
Its clean safe and very free. The braai area is tops but you can't swim at the beach

A great venue for kite surfing, paddling and model boat sailing. The facilities are ropey, and the security is questionable. Never go there on your own. Remember it is notorious for car break-in and car theft. If you have a Toyota, leave it at home.
Reasonably well cared for and fairly safe with good sea and lagoon views
Neat and clean. The toilets need handwash but even that's okay because we had our own so no major train smash.
