The owners are exceptional and the place was extremely neat. Really fashionable, without losing the feeling and comfort of farm lifestyle. The balance is perfect. Close enough to town, to have such silence, peace and nature. Felt really safe during our stay. Absolutely recommended and I'm looking forward to planning our next trip there.
What a lovely place to get away from the rat race, clean air, beautiful clean cottage. Everything you would need is available and well kept. What more to you want? The stars can be seen at night, the bird songs can be heard throughout the day that brings calmness. Dassenheuwel hosts is friendly and helpful. Thank you Lida and Kobus
We had a lovely few days at Dassenheuwel! The Farm Stay was beautiful, clean and top quality!! We really felt at home and got to relax while we were there. Lida was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

For all the those who grew up on farms, but live in the city now, Dassenheuwel offers a familiar farm feeling. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home and the friendly welcome of home-baked bread and jam reminds you of a care-free time. The owners make sure they greet their guests with the expected farmlife hospitality.

The Decor is so beautiful. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into it, just perfect. Very cozy and clean. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend it
