Dont rush it. Make sure you have enough time to walk the gardens and restore your soul. Was disappointed in the tea garden. Food should reflect the healthy theme.

I adore the Margaret Roberts Herbal Centre at De Wildt. Tranquillity at its utmost. Please change the it's to its where applicable. There is nothing more irksome than spelling mistakes on public forums, such as ".. in it’s 36 years of existence" should be "in its 36 years of existence".

Really bland food unfortunately. Drove for over 2 hours to have stale tripple chocolate cake and a bland slice of cheesecake:( Hot food was OK-ish. So disappointed. My wife was served a stale, tasteless scone which was supposed to be a fantastic staple of theirs. The gardens were really nice, which is the main reason for our visit.

Wonderful! Remember visiting as a child and now still frequent every now and then. It’s still as beautiful and tranquil as I remember. Perfect to clear your mind and fill your soul.

Rejuvenating and peaceful day out. Lovely food.

Have been applying fungicide for over a week now 2-3 times a day as prescribed and have been watching all of my plants continue to struggle with mildew, not a single one has been saved, so as far as I am concerned it's false advertising and a poor product all around.

This one place i would love to visit , iv friends who have visited and said how very calm and gentle the vibe is as though one is in a place of serenity. Perhaps i will visit soon . I was here on Wednesday end of January the sand road is in need of an upgrade , very badly eroded , pay R20 for entry, the place is very big plenty place to sit down and watch the world go by, lunch is very nice very open plan plenty of open space in the dining room. The shop has a range of goodies from Lavender pillows to pain cream .

a little disappointed, for the famous name, I expected a more extensive layout.
