Used these guys to hire a Canon 7D and Lens while I was in Ulusaba recently\u003e Great service. Thanks; Camera ready for me on arrival, great condition. one point worth noting - bring your own card - they will supply if you are stuck and also bring your own card reader as this is not provided. Took amazing photos too!!!

Great service - we rented binoculars and lenses from APR for our safari in Kruger. This was really a great way to travel lighter (it was five of us) but also have access to professional equipment and take great pictures. Natalie from APR was great at communicating and everything went really smooth. We picked up our equipment at the local airport and we dropped it off there when we left. Very smooth logistics. Thank you to Natalie and APR to help us have a great holiday

These guys were amazing. We dealt primarily with Tim. Getting the order setup was easy and he answered all our questions promptly. We realized a day before we were picking up the lenses that we only brought one of our SLR's (we originally were bringing 2 and had ordered 2 lenses to rent). We also realized we didn't have large enough memory cards. I emailed Tim in a panic and he said we could drop down to one lens and he would bring some memory cards. When we met Tim at the airport, he showed us details of the lens and how to set it up. He also gave us 2 separate 16 GB memory cards and told us to only open one - if we didn't need the second (he didn't think we would) we could return it. The lens worked great, the initial memory card was more than large enough, and the drop off of the lenses at Cape Town airport was totally smooth and quick. As promised, he gave us a credit for the unused lens and charged us for the 1 memory card. Tim took what could have been a very stressful situation and made it simple and streamlined. Oh, and the lens itself worked great. Amazing pictures! :-) We *highly* recommend this lens rental service - a much better idea than renting the lenses here in the US and schlepping them through the entire vacation!

These guys are amazing. One friday Afternoon we had problems with a D850 in the bush about 4 hours away. The next morning at 10:00 a D850 showed up at our doorstep in the middle of The Kruger National Park. Thank you guys for always being on the money when we call. I just returned from a 2 week safari trip to South Africa with my daughter. She already owned a nice camera, but we couldn’t afford to buy a powerful lens for the trip. So, I did some searching on Google, and luckily found Africa Photographic. Through APS I was able to rent the perfect lens for eight days—and the process was super easy because the equipment was delivered directly to the airport near Kruger. Natalie was super helpful and responsive. She answered any questions that I had, and made sure everything ran smoothly. My daughter is 22 years old. She has been developing as an amateur photographer at home. And the fact that she was able to use this lens to take beautiful pictures of the wildlife we saw, made her trip extra special! Every day she posted her pictures proudly online. This trip would not have been the same without her excitement over her photos! And the lens made all the difference... A trip of a lifetime made even more special. Certainly, worth every penny!

I rented a 400mm f2.8 from Africa Photographic services. The service was top notch. I requested the lens to be delivered to Mala Mala Safari lodge. It was there waiting for me when I arrived. Saved me the trouble of dragging the heavy lens all the way from Canada. I highly recommend this company.
