A couple of years ago I got my thumb crushed in a work accident. I expected to have the thumb amputated, but our family doctor patched it up with a couple of stitches and sent me to Dr van Schalkwyk. The man is a genius. At the end of the day, I lost only about 10 mm off my thumb. It is totaly functional and hardly any scars. To this day I am grateful as I work with my hands.

I waited a year to post this review to give my eyes time to heal, as per Dr. Andre's suggestion. Well, they healed terribly. Dr. Andre messed up my eyes and he refuses to refund my money. I need the money for corrective surgery to fix as much as can possibly be fixed from Dr. Andre's botched job. Two subsequent doctors told me he "over corrected" my eyes. My lids are still numb, my bottom lids don't touch my eyeball (especially my left one) so my eyes are always dry and getting particles in them. I have raised scars on the top and the bottom lids. I now need reading glass, when I didn't before. I have a huge, dark floater in my left eye. When I explained this to the doctor, he basically told me it was my fault. This is so untrue. I followed his guidance exactly. BEWARE! Don't let him touch your eyes! I would give him negative stars if it were possible.
