This tour company went to the Phabeni Gate and held up the line for 30 to 40 min paying for several entrance fees into Kruger National Park. This wouldn’t have been a problem had all transactions been in cash, but that wasn’t the case. The fees were paid in several credit card transactions, which took several minutes per transaction. This was extremely rude because the tour company could prepay the fees online or include it in the price of the tour. This tour company put me behind on my own self Safari, which is very easy to do in any kind of vehicle, and ran me late getting back to the gate by 18:00. I also did not get as far as I wanted to because of them making me wait for 40 min. Vula, please start doing the polite and proper behavior of prepaying the entrance fee!
What an fantastic experience! David Champion was certainly a champion as a guide. The entire Vula Tour experience was professional and I highly recommend them for the best tour experience EVER.
I recently went on a Game Drive with Vula Tours (Dec 2016). It was amazing from start to finish! In the morning they picked me up from my lodge (as well as others on the tour) and we set out for Kruger. We got their early so it was still a bit chilly (bring a jersey for an early morning drive!) but it was great to beat the typical tourist bus rush to the park. Our guide Yurrie (misspelled?) was so knowledgeable and an expert spotter. I have no idea how he saw some of the animals while driving as they were perfectly camouflaged. We sometimes went along while without seeing anything, but when we did it was well worth the weight. We ended up seeing rare Wild Dogs, Sable and twin Elephant babies in the same day (amongst other animals). I'd never done a tour game drive before (self driven Kruger a few times previously) but I can honestly say I would book through Vula again. Having a knowledgeable guide who also has radio access to the latest sightings is priceless.
Me and my wife spent our honeymoon in South Africa and naturally we wanted to go on a safari. Our experience with Vula tours were amazing! We were picked up every day by our safari driver André and he drove us around all day. He were very knowledgeable and told us all kinds of interesting facts about all the animals we saw. He was also very good at spotting animals that we didn't notice by ourselves. Besides that he knew where to go to see the different animals and we ended up seeing mostly all the animals we wanted to see. His 15 years of experience of doing safari drives in Kruger is probably the reason why he's\u200b such an amazing guide! I'll highly recommend Vula tours and André to anyone that wants a safari in Kruger national park.
My partner and I had the privilege and honour to enjoy a game drive with Marios of Vula Tours on 23 August 2016 around the south eastern section of the Kruger Park. Mario is a dedicated professional with vast knowledge about the plants and animals of the Park. He has an affable and warm personality. With hindsight, we should have set aside at least two days and nights in the Park. I recommend all OZs to book and enjoy top class game drives on the Kruger with Vula.
