The final delivered product was what I wanted and appears to be of good quality and the labour got it done, however the service to get to this point was jarring. Initially I requested for a quote and everytime I was promised the quote and every day went by without me getting it. Eventually when I got it, it was different to the agreement we had reached over the phone. I requested another quote and was promised it, but only got the figure on WhatsApp and never got the formal new quote. This was after days (if not weeks) of begging for it. Eventually the subcontracted installer came through and installed the curtain rails but the brackets were short ordered, and this company wanted to get away with the installation without the extra needed brackets. The installer and the company argued over why the extra brackets were needed and the company also argued with the installer on the phone in my house about their agreed price. It became clear to me that this company wants to do as little as possible in order to cut costs and still make as much money as possible. I asked them to come back another day to install the missing brackets. When the installer returned, he bought brackets that did not match the others and had to go back to a hardware to look for the correct brackets. Before he did, this company called him and had another argument on the phone about the brackets. I then got a call from the company, who wanted me to understand that they had nothing to do with the installer contractor. I can appreciate that, but as a customer, I went to Catalina Lifestyle for my service and I look to them to take full ownership and accountability for the product and job. Overall, this whole experience felt very unprofessional and I'll not use them again. I'm still undecided on whether R4600 for 4 bedroom eyelet curtain rails and installation is cheap or not, but I won't comment on that without certainty
