On the 27th of June 2019 my wife took the car for 60000km service but on her arrival home she said when she drove off from the dealship the car had weird sound when she pressed clutch but thought that it will stop along the way since she drove 147km but it didnt. she then called Nissan ermelo regarding the problem of the clutch. they said she should bring it back and it was booked for the 05th of July 2019 where I drove with her and the child also knowing that it was cold I sent an email enquiring about cortesy car where i was told that they do not have it the only thing that they can offer was to be dropped off where i will want to go. Before they worked on the car, we drove with one of the repairer who identified the sound and when we were told it was done, he explained what he did on the car (lubricated clutch, brick pads etc). The car was fine for some time after leaving the dealership. but the sound started later but not too serious. The car had a problem where it didnt start but was towed to the nearest dealership in Piet Retief, however the sound of the clutch never went away. My wife then contacted Nissan SA as she was starting to be irretated by the sound since she never experienced such petty issues with the previous 2 vehicles we owened. on her surprise she was told that she never piched for clutch issue in July. I dont know what happened with Nissan system but somehow it didnt sit well with her since she risked our son's health by walking with him on the cold while waited for the car to be attended in July. Customer service is good but how they deal with such issues is a problem and it should not happen since Nissan is their brand. I hope this time the clutch issue will be resolved because she loves this car.
