Loved the whole castle brick design on the inside. Movies and services are quite good. The theatre itself reminded me of when I was younger and going to the movies. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to watch a movie alone as a couple or with friends. Even the prices are quite cheap compared to the places I went to before coming here. :)

Had the best time with my family. Good memories of movies we watched.

Deffinitely more a theatre than a movie. It's not over priced. Just undercrowded, and tickets are not sold by seat but just by number of them. So the ealrier you get one, the better seats you get to claim.

It's movies in Newcastle. Appreciated and definitely needed so no reason to complain. However, I will never watch a 3d movie there again. Avengers end game was supposed to be epic but was ruined by the fact that the 3d was of absolute poor quality. Images were blurred and for the most part of the movie I had to remove it to see faces properly and then put on again for more distant shots. I'll go for normal movies there however the big releases especially those that I have been waiting 10 years for , I'll wait to see it in a franchise theatre. Other than that, Victorian theatres has been servicing Newcastle with much needed entertainment for a long time which we are truly grateful for.

Stressful that they haven't perfected buying and booking seats online. Had to come from another town so early and hang around an unfamiliar town for 4hrs in the bid to secure tickets and prevent driving all the way later to a full house. Seats are numbered but tickets had no specific seat numbers that till movie started was unsure if someone would claim the seats. Would appreciate if season change could be considered in tje aircon temperatures. It was freezing when it was on. 3 D viewing shouldn't be imposed on everyone. It was uncomfortable. However grateful for the place staying open for one to keep up with movie life. Great prices no feeling of exploitation. Thank you

Went on 2 occasions to watch the Indian movie with family. The initial impression at the concession stand was poor. They offered combo drinks with popcorn and soda and could not provide a combo deal because the soda machine was broken! Common sense and customer service to patrons would have honored the deal and substituted the drink for the inconvenience and false advertising by this establishment - but sadly they just said no. Going into the theater was the second poor impression: seats were broken at the back of the theatre. When the movie started the final poor impression was the quality of their streaming. The movie was unclear and grainy. Well I guess we got what we paid for (R30) for the movie, however the exorbitant prices at the concession stand was not worth its price for the items ordered.
