We had the most amazing time returning to the serenity of Bellwood This was our Wedding Venue 3 years ago and it was so special to come back and enjoy the place all over again! From rowboat fun to gorgeous picnic locations we had a lot of fun. Thank you for having us again.

We spent a lovely Christmas at Bellwood with our 3 kids and my brother and his family. We were in the Kingfisher cabin. It was impeccably clean and well fitted out. The BBQ facilities are great which made cooking for the large group a breeze. We slept so well as it was so quiet at night. Being right on the dam the kids mucked about in and on the water swimming and making use of the row boats provided. Being from the USA the kids were thrilled to see monkeys on our walks around the farm. We walked up to the forest chapel where weddings are held. What a magical place for a wedding! The surrounding area is full of artisans, restaurants, shopping and activities for kids. We will be back for sure!

Gorgeous venue, efficient staff and friendly, helpful management. You have the option of a chapel or an outside ceremony in their beautiful forest. The reception hall is large with a gorgeous big fireplace and stunning views overlooking their dam and majestic landscape. There are so many photos opportunities, in the magical forest, old rustic stable area and even in their fields with the cows in the backdrop. Guests are able to stay on the property in cottages that are walking distance from the reception hall. I highly recommend this venue for anyone who is looking to have the most memorable wedding

We had a great Christmas holiday at Bellwood Cottages. There were tons of things for the kids to do. They very much enjoyed the dam and the kids park with the wonderful playhouse. They also liked the animals and there were also many things to do in the surrounding areas. The accommodations were great. They were very spacious, clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. It is very well setup for large families or multi family vacations.

If a relaxed time with your family is what you are looking for, Bellwood is the place to be. With lovely accommodation, a wonderful scenery and amazing staff, i would highly recommended that you book your stay at Bellwood Cottages. The venue is to die for. If a fairy tale wedding day is what you are wanting, do not look any further.In the heart of the Midlands lies your dream wedding venue. I would recommended Bellwood for your special wedding day or even a family weekend get away!! You will not be disappointed.

Sadly due to the logistics ( we live near Bloem!) my fiancé and I did not end up choosing this venue for our wedding, however I would like to express how touched we were with the kindness and hospitality we were greeted with from being in contact on mail through to viewing this venue last year. It was one of the best venues we have viewed and we searched from the Free State to PMB side! There was a wedding being set up at the time of our viewing & they didn’t mind us looking at all, we even took some pics for inspiration! Will recommend to friends!! 5 stars!

Bellwood Wedding Venue is such a pleasure to work at. We are always amazed at how neat and clean the Venue is. From entering the gates you can notice how well run this farm is. It must be such hard work as this is a working farm, a wedding venue PLUS heaps of accommodation on the premises. The Bellwood team is always friendly, professional and nothing is ever too much to ask. We look forward to today's wedding at Bellwood and know all will run smoothly and we will wave our farewells to the bride and groom knowing we all added our little bit to make it the most memorable day for them.

Stunning venue with very friendly owners. We’ve stayed in the cottages on a number if occasions and it’s always amazing. Jeannine, Willie and their colleagues can’t do enough for you and the cottages are very well equipped and maintained. Not had the fortune of experiencing a wedding there but I’m sure it would be stunning. The whole set up looks wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit and the excellent hospitality.
