Amazing hiking trails and wildlife accommodation also available, especially for hunting and school trips

Fantastic experience. Quiet and beautiful!
Very scenic hikes, well marked but some ladders are in need of care. For staying over, there are nice kitchen and braai facilities. Bathrooms are mediocre. Backpackers' style bunk beds.
Great, VERY simple place in the middle of nowhere. The accommodation is VERY simple but enough if you're just interested in a hiking weekend away. The trails are relatively challenging with several river crossings over simple bridges that may scare a few people. The hikes all have ladder sections which are actually pretty scary as well as some tight climbs with sheer cliff drops. Thus, if you're not in peak fitness and are scared of heights, these may not be the best for you. This being said, the second day hike is really good and relatively simple after you have gone up the ladders and scaled the sheer cliff face. There is an abundance of wildlife (wildebeest, giraffe, baboons, buck) so it is highly rewarding. The place itself has warm showers and a flushing toilet. The kitchen is simple but has a fridge and deep freeze. The beds are in dorms so there is no privacy for couples. However, this is a retreat in the bush and these definitely are sufficient as long as you bring EVERYTHING.
Unbelievable beautiful and perfect for that getaway away from the busy life
The place is nice..Hike is amazing. Beautiful views..Lots of ladders to climb. You crawl through mountain hole as well..But suggest to go in a group..At one stretch couple of marking were missing..I would say one need level of fitness to complete the hike.
The hike itself is beautiful however raising safety concerns for hikers to the owners regarding the lack of maintenance on the trail was met with a "We don't care attitude" Certain sections of the trail is dangerous when going down ladders and the wooden steps give way and as experienced in our group people fall and hurt themselves. So take care on the trails and proceed with caution.
