My former dentist is retiring soon and referred me to Dr Govender. I saw the doctor on 16 March 2021. The two ladies at reception were very polite. I was seen on time. The doctor was professional yet friendly. Before my examination he asked me a few questions about myself and my job. I’m usually quite nervous at dental appointments (who isn’t?) and this sort of small talk always helps me to calm down! I had an assessment to check whether or not I required braces. This included a visual dental examination and a panoramic X-ray. I also had a dental impression taken of my upper jaw. The dental assistants were also very professional, pleasant and friendly. Overall, a good experience.

Your admin support is very rude Dr and you will lose a lot of business if she continues to work for you . She told me straight to go where my colleague got hers done while I was still explaining how my colleague got her braces done with her medical aid \u200d️ Ddnt even let me finish
He is an extremely rude practitioner. I would never recommend anyone see him.
I am extremely disappointed by the way I was spoken to by the receptionist or pa . She is utterly rude and inexperienced with poor ethics towards public conversation. She treated me as if I was at the door begging for their services which I clearly was not! If as she the first face of the practice has no morals, who's to know how poorly I'll be treated by the dentist. Serves me right for taking recommendations. I'm utterly disappointed!
Terrible experience. Waited 45 minutes to an hour each time we visited. There were usually 4-6 patients in the waiting room. Dr Govender takes in 4 patients at a time in the same room and works on them by alternating. My permanent retainer fell out a few months after it was put in when it is supposed to stay in for at least a few years. He left cement on my teeth after taking the braces off which the dentist subsequently took off. Although friendly- He was rushed and incompetent because of placing high demand on himself.
