Poortjies Beach is a Magic place for dogs to romp and swim and interact! Great for humans too...old and young...to swim, walk, paddle and fish. Mostly uncrowded and friendly.

Love this place. We manage to enjoy it before it went under lockdown in Dec 2020. It was certainly a different summer holiday.

Still a great place to walk your fur buddy. But alas it is still closed for public.
This beach is spectacular at any time, but get down to this early in the morning, at least before7 you will not regret it. You have the main beach looking out to sea by Milkwood Manor and then the sheltered semi lagoon on the other side. Simply spectacular.
