From small beginning to an amazing impact. This establishment funds the rehabilitation and permanent wildlife through the guided tours and sponsors. The permant wild life residents are there for various reasons: permanent injuries, saved from trafficking and not being about to be released in their natural habitat. They are all in fantastic health and though I'm not an animal whisperer they all seem happy. There is an on-line booking option with a 10% discount (Dec 2020). So now you have no excuse to not visit!

Using Amanzi Luxury ISLAND Lodge as a home base , we visited various locations and Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation was but one which we found amazing.
A very special experience. Loved the tour with our tourguide, Msizi (hope spelling is correct), he is passionate and very well informed. Worth every cent.

Wow what an awesome sight arriving there and being welcomed by 2 lions. The male is a Magestic white lion and the female lioness is just as beautiful. My photo is not the best as there are signs asking us not to stop. We took an injured bird. The staff were amazing and very well informed.

Lots of animals in really large well maintained enclosures. Nearly felt like you were walking in a safari at points. Friendly and fun guides make it truly special. Dan was the best!
