Compared to other Home affairs offices, Home affairs Port Alfred is a quite efficient, only waited 2hours before being helped and then with only 3 staff members being allowed to work per shift due to covid regulations the staff is pretty overwhelmed with all the work set out for them when they are on duty due to being understaffed. The staff was also pretty helpful and quite friendly.

Bad luck here, need to do my daughters first application for id.Waited for 5 hours just to get in front and to be told to go home, the computers are offline. Very disappointing

What a shock, with only 1 client before me, the 3 ladies that works their ignoring myself completely and the other clients that came in after me got shouted at because they just walked in, and please note No one was serving the door entrance until I called for the lady working at the door because she was having a hour and half conversation with the other two ladies working behind the counter, and then on top of this slack behaviour, the door lady doing the temperature test and hand sanitizing screaming and shouting at another client walking in!!! I've never witness such misbehavior and no working ethical manner!!!! Not one of these 3 ladies deserves their jobs, they are lazy and not interested in the public or attending to clients at all. Thank you to the ONE gentleman that does help and go beyond his duty!!! He was so friendly helpful and apologetic for the 3 ladies rude, and disgusting behavior. For this gentleman I give 5 stars that being my 1 star on the review.
