I met people there that answered my questions about the entire acreage. Children told me that it was a place where Jesus Christ was honored and worshipped. Another day a delightful lady explained that the signs on the outside wall did mean different types of services were held there. For example: Because the holy site was established by the Dutch, they still hold traditional, formal services there. A second service-style is completed through the performances of music, which often the congregation also participates in - as well as watching others perform. A third service is for those who want to share social gatherings, wherein, they determine some where in the community, where they want to meet, and enjoy time together or learning together. The fourth service is very casual and people come together to ASK questions and hold a discussion. They hold the last one at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings. Their grounds allow for plentiful , flowers, chickens and a chicken , rabbits, roosters crow from there each morning. The grounds are large; it is a pleasure to walk around there on Sunday evenings - the discussions are inside, and others can just enjoy nature and a lovely walk to enjoy the beautiful roses or the sunsets. The security guard is thorough, but friendly. This is across the street from where those folks, who work at embassies' children attend school, grades K - 8. In my opinion, the Gereformeerde, etc. is an asset to this area - Faerie Glen in Pretoria, Africa.

The first wedding for which I played the organ was at this church. I love the setup. The church has something of a historical ambiance about it.

Gereformeerde kerk met Woord-getroud preke. Afrikaans interpreted morning & evening service. International English service at 11:30 am. Friendly community. Lapa area with drinks and snacks after service. Neat & modestly decorated large church building with good sound system for sermons. Large church grounds with children playing area.
