I am very disappointed in the unprofessionalism of this branch. Bidvest McCarthy has a very good name, therefore I was expecting good service. I bought a car from them and it took them 5 days to deliver as they were “fixing the scratches and making it roadworthy”. However when we received the car we received it without the spare key because the sales agent wasn’t in the mood to go to the dealership to pick it up and it was exactly the same as when we first viewed the car nothing was fixed. The wiper was broken and made a deep scratch in the windscreen that’s we had just paid for to be replaced, the rear break light was broken, the fuel gauge was broken and the passenger side window made a terrible noise each time you rolled it up. We had an argument with the sales lady who helped us after this argument she had blocked me and therefore we could not make arrangements with her to have the car fixed. After she had blocked me I got into contact with the manager (Mxlisi) who is just as incompetent as his staff. They have currently had the car for almost a week and they cannot even give us an indication as to when the car will be ready. I am very disappointed in Bidvest McCarthy, the level of Incompetency is beyond me. I do not suggest that you support this business as the people who work there are truly just in it for the sale and as soon as they make that sale they do not care about the customer one bit.
