All the staff, from the people at the reception area to the person in charge of the photobooth were incredibly friendly. There is a high level of professionalism which they operate with. All the information regarding the processing time of the visa and any queries post-application were explained thoroughly and adequate follow-up is done.

The place was a bit hard to find. The GPS just stops at Centurion mall, which causes confusion. But it's actually at a building right behind the mall at Entrance 10, by the banks. Applying for a Visa is a shlep. It really is. The requirements are lengthy and it is daunting if you've never done it before. But the guys here were very helpful. It gets busy. Not Home Affairs busy but I just didn't anticipate that there were that many people applying for visas. Expect a 15 to 20 minute wait before being helped. But you won't be there for longer than 40 minutes. The cost is also slightly higher than the R900 stated on the website. I paid just under R1400 (April 2018). Although their turnaround time is 15 days, my passport was ready for collection within 5 working days.

Our experience with BLS was really a smooth process. We waited only 19 days for our visas to be approved, and that included weekends & a public holiday. Counting only weekdays, it was only 12 days, which is really a good turn around time I think. The appointment booking process works well and the staff was very friendly towards us. Thanks BLS for making our upcoming trip to Spain easier.

Would give it zero stars if possible. I am exceptionally disappointed in the process as a whole. I went to the application centre with all the correct information and it was accepted like that. I specifically inquired about the fact that I had only 9 days before my flight and they said it should be fine and I will have my Visa before that. I visited the BLS centre numerous times to try and collect my Visa, but every time they just told me it is still in process. We tried phoning the helpline, but got cut of every time after waiting 8 minutes. I got my passport back after 22 days WITHOUT a Visa. I lost all the money spend on flights, accommodation, etc, because now they did not issue me a Visa. I did not even get a refund on the Visa itself. I deem this totally unacceptable. Now I lost a very important client too. I would not recommend the BLS centre to anyone. and avoid it all cost.

The service in south-africa is a joke! They made a mistake on my visa and I'm travelling in 4 working days... No apology, sympathy or compensation. I travel multiple times a year but I have never experienced such service with an visa application centre. The best was when the BLS employee told me 'their job is to only put the papers (application) in a envelope and pass it to the Spanish embassy' - Job creation much!

Friendly and helpful staff, short waiting time in the afternoon, efficient. Staff were even sympathetic to one of the clients who had didn't have all the required documents. Visa application was approved and couriered to an outlying area in 5 working days..! Well done!

Would give it zero stars but 1 star is the minimum, pathetic service, told me my passport would be ready in 4 days as I needed it for an emergency, its been 2 weeks. They are just wasting your time and milking your money, if you're 50 50 between visiting Spain and another country, I would visit the other country, simply because going through this pathetic excuse of a service is not worth it. The Spanish embassy in Pretoria are useless too
