Not one of the best bird hides in Rietvlei Nature Reserve but still worth a visit. At the moment the reeds are a bit "out of control" and hinder animal sightings. However, when walking down the pathway to the hide, it's a good birding area especially to try to see elusive warblers. Also dont miss the steps going down to the tranquil spot under the trees, a place to meditate

Hides are all good and worth the visit .. though some of the latrines could do with more regular servicing.
