Awesome hiking trails, enough to give you a good workout. Those uphill parts are serious and you need to dig deep, but clean and beautiful. The spider lovers will have a ball.

This trail is is a hikers' favourite for a couple of reasons. There's a zip line and a 5K trail for those who just want a fun walk/light workout and then there's a long, 10K trail if you're looking for a proper workout. The long trail is not a typical steep uphill and then downhill experience. Doing it is a bit like doing a HIIT workout. Expect lots of steep climb/level stretch/downhill, repeat. A proper, proper workout.

Really outstanding. Lots of helpful staff pointed us in the right direction as we set out being useless with our map! But once we found the 10km trail the signage was really clear and brilliant. Loved the "3km to go" type encouragement and the identification of places of interest. There was so much to see and so many different terrains to cross that the trail felt carefully planned. Owners are clearly putting money back into the business as everything was clean and in good repair. Well worth the entrance fee!

I love the fact that I could take my kids with. Hennops has a variety of trails to choose from, starting from 1,2km all the way to 10km. The kids loved the cable crossing, it brings a great ending to the experience. You can also find a tuck shop, braai area and pool on site. A great full days outing. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful scenery. The trails takes you up the hills and over the Hennops river. There's a cable car that you can use to go across the river. Honestly, it's really fun. There is bridges that you can use, but the cable car is more exciting. Not only that but there is an restuarant where you can go eat. The local wildlife consist of giant spiders that chills in the trees and there's mountain biking trails that you can go ride. I recommend this place for people that want to enjoy there hike. A little expensive, but worth it.

The trail itself is beautiful and the 5km has a good mix of challenging and scenic. It's big enough that even when there are a lot of people on the trail there is still more than enough social distancing :) The only issue I had was the girl who assisted us with buying our tickets. She had her mask pulled down and loudly told us "Don't worry I don't have corona - I sanitise all the time.". She's interacting with many people and passing us our wristbands. This didn't make me feel safe and I'm pretty sure that's not the appropriate policy here.

The 10km trail is quite easy, but very rocky especially towards the end. The first 2Km are good for taking pictures. We manage to complete the trail just under 4 hours with water breaks and taking pictures in between. At the end of the hike you can take the cable car or walk an extra 1km.
