This beautiful but simple memorial was the result of a successful land claim by descendents of 60 people and their families who were forcibly removed from the area under apartheid laws. It is now a place of reflection and a local meeting point in the community. This award winning tribute was designed by a student from the University of Pretoria.

Interesting memorial dealing with the removal of people and following land claim. Not much information is given on full situation but in a way this is a symbolic gesture for all the places where forced removals took place. The area is well maintained and easy to visit.
