A definite place to stop if you are visiting Rietvlei Nature Reserve. Can be seen from the Maraus Dam picnic site which is well maintained with large open lawn areas with numerous benches, trees and braai facilities. Ample parking with a short walk to the site. Two well maintained bird hides overlooking Marais Dam, if you lucky you might see hippopotamus
