It's quite beautiful but only one piece took my breath away so that's why it falls short of 4 stars however it's a good local to go for a quick in and out visit.

I had the chance back in 2018 to visit the Pretoria art museum I like that place for sure A lot of art and nice stuff inside
Haven't been here in years, still has a solid permanent collection with rotating temporary exhibitions in the main halls. Area is now fenced off from the public park which definitely makes it feel safer. And ofcourse, couldn't leave without taking a selfie with the life sized Olmec replica.

Amazing art works, disappointing in the maintance of the art works and area
The art on display was very impressive. The reception staff and security were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the museum building and walkways to the museum have been allowed to fall into disrepair, which was very disappointing. There were even leaks in the roof. Are the priceless artworks being properly looked after?
