Let me say this.The fishing is hard yes,but there is a reason for it.The fish there are massive and are well known to not bite much.The plants in the water is investing everything.It makes it super difficult to fish.The thing that I like the most is how the people there will help you almost all the time.The workers are friendly and are amazing fishermen.I know more now and have a plan next time I go and fish there.Great place for kids to play and is very safe place(sometimes).Just the view of the mountains and the water is amazing.I do feel there could be more work done with changing some things and make old things better or fixing old stuff.The big old trees is a must and is wonderful,because you are protected from the sun pretty much the whole day.All and all,pretty cool place.

Nice view from bar and restaurant area over the Bon Accord dam.
Very nice venue with the dam just to the right of the venue and a pool to entertain the kids... prices reasonable... will go again...
As it was our very 1st time going there - we didnt know we are not alowed to take our own Simba chips - as a young white lady was very rude to us. We left within the first 35 minutes. Will never go there again.

Fun boating, fishing and braai facilities,a pub and delicious meals from their sparkling and ultra modern kitchen, the best place for couples time out with affordable accommodation.( I recommend the His & Hers platter,it strengthens the bond).
Nice place to be, took my family for valentines day and it was so nice, all staff members are friendly and helpful
