I had 2 components that I had given to two different guys to fix. I was advised there was nothing I could do with it. Took it to Hans in 15 minutes it was working. He’s a very fair person and honest also. There’s no beating around the bush with him. He’s an absolute Legend in my opinion.

As many other kids from the 70's I've been left with a nostalgic passion for vintage equipment, especially Reel To Reel Tape Recorders. Thing is that although high end in their prime, these machines are now 40-50 years old. They need some maintenance and regular servicing. That is how I met Hans at Audio Equipment Service about 7 years ago. Very knowledgeable and accomodating, Hans services my machines ever since. He is extremely skilled in his field and very seldom ,if ever battles with a stubborn fault. He will always be there for you and he will always make a plan to keep your vintage collection going . As for the price, reasonable is an understatement. Hans, same as us collectors, is a great admirer of analogue machines. Hans is very capable of repairing most vintage audio equipment. I have a habit of collecting vintage audio equipment and somehow they always need attention. Over the last few years Hans has repaired my turntables, calibrated, serviced and changed rubber belts on my cassette decks , serviced and repaired amplifiers, cd players and reel to reel decks. He is very reliable and his prices are very reasonable.
