Professional and helpful. They looked a little under-staffed, but amazing all round. Very grateful for their time and attention

Happy with the adoption process. A small hiccup getting the right dogs ready. But happy with the animals we have now.

Please please support the charity shop. It is such a lovely little place and there is always some sort of treasure that I manage to find as they have such great stuff. Your purchases will go towards helping such a good cause. Also consider donating your pre loved items.

These people do excellent work! I love to support their charity shop and book store. Besides the money going for a good cause, it is a real treasure hunt to shop there. i

Had an absolutely harrowing experience. I don't recommend anyone adopt from SPCA Randburg ever, as the last thing they care about is the wellbeing or best interests of the animals. We had a 2nd reserve on a dog. We had our home inspection and were accepted. We made the changes to our yard by adding additional fencing which cost R1500plus. They had erroneously rejected the 1st reserve. They had not had their inspection but at this point they process had moved on. An extremely rude and one track minded staff member named Shiven Bodasing , without the cognitive flexibility to consider a proper argument decided to hold a farce of a hearing where we were pitted against the other potential adoptee. The dogs (the one in dispute and another puppy we had wanted to adopt) had to spend an additional two weeks in those small unhappy kennels. The SPCA were so hellbent on protecting themselves they pushed us to argue with the other potential adoptee. They made a mistake. They should have never put the parties in this position. On the merits of who was a better candidate family, we should have received the dog whom we had already named Kida. We have a substantial yard with Albert's Farm Park literally on our doorstep. But that was of no concern to the SPCA. *Update* The family to whom they gave the dog, returned her within a week. The self righteous staff member who refused to apply any logic in his argument didn't even have the decency to call and apologize. Rather the admin lady was instructed to send an email on his behalf. They attitude of Shiven Bodasing was so off-putting that will probably retell this story and recommend to use anyone else besides the SPCA until the day I die. It also undoes in goodwill years of a relationship. This scathing review does not even put into words the upset this has caused my family and those innocent dogs.

The lady I dealt with was very helpful, too bad I can't remember her name. The work they do for the animals is phenomenal. Kudos to them.
