Professional business handled by proper and genuine people. They helped me repair and replace some loose screws underneath my car. Although it was minor work he didn't charge me for his time. Just by those actions and the conversation I had with them I knew he and his establishment was a safe space for anyone. I will definitely come back here for my oil change and repairs because he's established a sense of trust with his customers and I know he's good for it.

I have been a customer at Fangio Auto Service for the last 10 years because they provide themselves in great customer service and exeptional workmanship at the best prices. The team go above and beyond to work closely with customers and I highly recommend their services.
Terrible experience with Fangio. Dishonest and expensive. They gave me a quote of over 27K (and charged R650 for the quote) to fix my 13 yr old Fiat, insisting that the throttle body needed to be replaced even though this didn't show up on the diagnostic. The quote was not split up into parts or labour either. After asking, they said the price for a new throttle body was over 7K, and despite being Fiat 'specialists' put in no effort to source second-hand parts or generics. I ended up driving to a Germiston scrapyard to get the part, which they tried, and it still didn't work. I ended up taking my car for a second opinion and, finally, paying 12K - less than half of what Fangio quoted me! The new place replaced my front brake pads, rear and front wipers, cam belt, clutch, fixed a leak in the rear main seal, did a full service and my car now runs like new. Nothing wrong with the throttle body. I will never go here again, or recommend you to anyone. Especially those on a budget. I was offered a R650 refund to take this review down, which I think speaks for itself.
These guys are experts and honest. It was a pleasure for me to leave my car in their care. They have respored my faith in machanic.

Excellent experience at Fangio. Visiting from Cape Town. Engine management light staying on. Fangio's carried out a diagnostic check, advised on the problem and re-set the electronics at no charge! Friendly and efficient!!
