I have a small camper, built on a VW Transporter. I'm traveling from East London to the Kruger park. I stopped at Midbay motors ( my vehicle was pulling to the left ) for a specialist opinion. As I am a retired diesel mechanic and studied at the Peugeot factory in France, with 45 years experience in the trade , I knew that I could exclude a few points. What it needed was a specialized VW technician to check the suspension. Instead they send me to a super quick. Soon I could see that they didn't have qualified staff to sort out a problem like that. Although I cant complain, they did there outmost best to help me. I felt that even myself was not qualified enough to sort out this problem that could have devastating consequences. I just want to know what the opinion of VW factory is and what I should do in this case to sort out my vehicle. After all VW agents are not only there to sell vehicles but also to give technical support.

Nice showroom, but it doesn't always present all new or latest vw cars.
Expensive. They sabotaged my car twice: First time removed 2 bolts and loosened 1 bolt (out of total 4) from front suspension. To make me come back soon for bigger job. Almost killed me by uncontrolled sideways movement during breaking. Second time - as a "revenge" for asking for not sabotaging my car - they put old fuel filter FULL OF DIESEL in the boot after servicing the car. After reaching home I found the boot contaminated with about 1/2 litre of diesel leaked from old, replaced filter. Took few months to evaporate. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. Andrzej Ładosz Empangeni
