Pathetic. Don't brother calling. No one mans the phones. Get there SUPER early as lines are long on the street from 7:30. You will get served around 9am - 10am. You may not eat anything inside. People who work there CLEARLY hate their jobs!!!

There are many potholes in the area, especially in the parking bay accross from the court. Way too many people hanging around which makes vehicles an easy target for break-ins. Have been coming back to this court for almost a year. Every time they would postpone the case which results in a hell of a lot of legal fees, especially if you are here for maintenance (trying to get money in order to support child)... They do not consider your financial position here. Have to wait outside court until 9 although they request of you to be here at 7. There is absolutely no social distancing enforced by officials outside of court.
Sadly it seems the registrar/employee,Joseph Matlala, does not know how to respond to e-mail or is aware of the court rules of providing 10 days notice period for service. A great example on 23 November 2020 we get notification the matter is set down for 02 December 2020. We then get no responses to our e-mails when attempting to have him correct his error. Sadly, there will be no repercussions for him because he probably obtained the job through a friend...
The lady at room 60 was very very rude to me. She was even busy with her phone while I was still talking to her.
Relatively safe parking walking distance from the parking area to the Court House entrance gate(s)... In comparison to PTA MC very smaller (can't really get lost) ... The drive from PTA to Roodepoort - give yourself at least an hour to get to the court. Overall much nicer experience than the PTA Magistrate's Court (MC) and Pretoria Masters Office (don't go there after 12h00)
I have been phoning for weeks no answer!!!!!!
Trying g to get hold of anyone at the #Roodeport Magistrate court is in vain. The telephone system is poor, auto voice message just repeats. Can someone look at it. I need information since I cannot drive to the place, due to #lockdown.
They do not answer phones. The answering machine message activate immediately with two option. If further assistance option is selected the answering machine keeps repeating itself
