Quick efficient and easy service quick to submit documents bear in mind they will be open from 3rd February 2020 8:30 am till 11:30 am they are closed at the moment due to lunar new year festival so take this as a friendly reminder

Efficient, friendly service. Even the security guards are knowledgable and helpful, and the consulate officials are patient and willing to assist with questions. There is even a copier machine available for use in the office at a small fee. Parking can be difficult however so arrive early.

I went to the consulate with all my necessary documents for authentication. Even though I had to ask where to go in, the staff were very helpful. I had to fill in an application form which was comprehensive enough without being too long. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good experience. I would say make sure you have all the right documents and photocopies before going, although they do have a photocopy machine there in case you forget.

Today, I went to the Chinese Consulate to handle the passport of the newborn. The attitude of the passport staff is very good, patience, enthusiasm and efficiency are very high. Minutes to let you feel the care of the motherland, may not experience this kind of service for a long time, feel more intimate. Thumbs up to all Chinese staff in Johannesburg, South Africa.
