Hands down best airline when flying from South Africa. Emirates app works perfectly for checking in. Actual Check in was fast. They allow 2 bags up to 23kg each on economy . Can fly with a mountain bike at no extra cost as along as its the second bag. Food and staff are great. Also left my tablet on the flight and it was located and brought back to me within 24 hours. Well done Emirates.

Airbus 380 business class far better than its Boeing 777 business class. They should get rid of the US made Boeings as Business Class quality and quantity varies from seating size to meal presentation when you are paying a premium. Here is where their integrity sucks like the culture in UAE and USA. Rather fly asian such as Singapore or Cathay Pacific business class.Far more consistent in values, service quantity,quality and seating integrity. They not chasing the money like Emirates.
Good airlines but crew needs to get training that India is big customer base for Emirates. Pathetic approach when you catch Dxb to any India location flight. Its negative and poor mindsets of most of crew
I heard on the radio about global specials being held by Emirates South Africa where you can fly to or from almost anywhere as long as tickets are booked before 13 June. We're flying to Israel on 1.06, Europe on 6.06 and back to Johannesburg on 11.06. I'd like to book tickets on the special, but your live chat kept me on hold for more than TWENTY MINUTES - TWICE, before hanging up on me both times. When I searched for am email address to post my query, my only option was to call - how long will I be on hold there considering the live chat experience? Not a good experience at all.
