Excellent wine selection, and a very knowledgeable sommelier who recommended a fabulous wine exactly suited to our palettes. However being a wine place, a charcuterie board should be impeccable, because who doesn’t love snacking on glorious cheese, nibbles and fine cold meats while sipping on magical wine... but unfortunately it fell very flat! Ordered the prosciutto (received normal ham) salami, and received the waxy ends of the Il bastardo & peccorino cheese (so basically inedible) - 4 Lousy crackers and corn nibs. I saw other people eating real food which looked great, but I don’t trust a place that gets the very basics so wrong... but I would go back for the sommelier to recommend more wines!

This was a great place to dine with a group & share many tapas. The variety was good & the chef presented the food in a way that made it easy to share for our group of 9 people. We received helpful advice on the wine selections and we're able to taste a couple of options before deciding on a bottle. Enjoyed the unique sauces that accompanied each tapa.

Honestly, I don't do the same restaurant twice. We stumbled upon this place and fell in love. The wine tasting concept and variety is such adds such a fresh flavour to Joburg fine dining. I loved my calamari that was freshly shipped up 2 days ago. The wines were incredible and the waitron was well informed and friendly. Well decorated and music on point. You'll see me again!

Le Wine Chambre is a beautifully apportioned little restaurant with a glorious selection of choice wines for the discerning wine lover. The restaurant's sommelier Eric is a fountain or rather a vineyard of knowledge; articulate, engaging and supremely passionate about his art. Enjoy a variety of delicious foods to go with your wine, while the most beautiful soul sounds pipe softly in the background, thanks to an excellently-selected playlist. I recommend this place for a sublime afternoon or evening out...be sure to treat yourself to the experience!
Great selection of wines by he glass. They have one of those machines where you can get tastes, half and full glasses of wine by the glass. SA wines and international ... it was great. Plus awesome waitstaff and good snacks. Will definitely go back!
Great food and wine! First time in my life I've enjoyed chicken livers... and the beef carpaccio and calamari were exceptional. It is so unusual to find a real adult wine bar in Johannesburg. We will be back!
