I placed an order with this app which l normally do, but this time l did not check if the order was under delivery then automatically it was on collection meaning l was supposed to go to the restaurant myself to fetch the order, think of it, why would l order through Mr Delivery app if l can go to the shop myself and collect? It was just a mistake which l thought Mr D could help & correct. I called their office and they said if the order has an option to collect there was no way they could help change it to delivery. I was very unhappy because l also work in the hospitality industry where we always bend over backwards to make sure the client is satisfied. I then contacted the restaurant direct and they helped me a lot, they sent their driver to come drop the food and l paid for the delivery.

I’ve waited 2 hours for my food. The driver never contacted me to get an access code. He sat outside my Estate for over 40mins because he had no airtime, but how was I supposed to know this without a direct line of communication? Mr Delivery needs to ensure that drivers have airtime and data because how the hell else are they supposed to contact us since we have no way to track their location or send access codes (like on Uber eats)?! I spoke to 3 call center reps, which meant I had to use my own airtime to call them to find out what the hell was happening. 2 of the reps (Hassan and Tamara) were relatively helpful, but there was a third guy who was rude and left me on hold instead of forwarding me to a manager. How vindictive and unprofessional!! Inefficient, hopeless service without any kind of accountability! I’ve already deleted the Mr D app. Loyal Uber Eats customer from now on!

How many bad reviews does your company need before taking action?? This is actually a joke. For those reading this, Mr D has stolen just under R200 from me and blamed it on ''banking procedures". Pathetic. Stick to Uber Eats if you're hungry.

In this day and age, a delivery service that has no card machines for credit and debit cards??!! Are you kidding me? I have a tiny little five-man pizza place up the road from me that delivers and has card machines, for goodness sake! You have multiple branches, there's no excuse! The call centre consultants are surly, unhelpful and almost always mess up your order. WIll never use them again. This is a business that does not deserve to stay in business!

Take my money then say they haven’t got it! I have proof of message from card company and the transaction in my card transaction history. So the order was never processed. And now they need to “investigate” and it will take over 4 days possibly to get my money back ! Incompetent charlatans. User Uber Eats in future as these people are shocking.
