After 16 years of wearing glasses for nearsightedness, I now have 20/20 vision. I highly recommend visiting Sandton Eye Clinic if you're looking for vision correction procedures. I had PRK done in December to correct my vision and my experience thus far has been great. Dr Daniel talked me through the PRK process before and during my procedure, answered every question I had, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire experience. Everyone at Sandton Eye Clinic are professional and friendly. Just be sure to book your consult well in advance.

Sandton Eye Clinic is furbished with the most advanced equipment. And to my knowledge, they have recently installed a couple of world class lasers for cataract surgery and laser vision correction surgery. Just check out their website.. The clinic entrance is in the lobby of the Morningside Mediclinic, which means it is very easily accessible - no need to enter the maze of passageways in the rest of the hospital. Staff were highly professional and kind. The service is worldclass!! I happened to overhear some of the backgrounds of other patients in the waiting room - Dr Daniel obviously has a very trusted reputation among high-level clientelle. Good enough for me!

After fifteen years of sore eyes and every treatment for “dry eyes”, I went to Sandton Eye Clinic for the correct diagnosis and treatment of my eyes. Two months into treatment and I am tremendously happy with the results. For the first time in years my eyes are not red and scratchy. I’ve read a lot about people battling with dry eyes, which is what I was previously told I had by other ophthalmologists. It can become so severe that people have ended their own lives. I can totally relate. Having my diagnosis changed and the correct treatment applied has been life changing. I have ocular allergies which is something you can manage for the rest of your life quite easily. Who knew?! Don’t be put off by the cost, it’s a small price to pay for a lifetime of happiness.

This is the best eye clinic in town. The eye clinic is strategically located on the ground floor at the Morningside clinic. It is easily accessible and there is ample parking space. Dr Daniel is courteous, professional and an expert in his field. He is well informed of new developments and internationally trends in this field. The practice conducts an in-depth analysis of each patient’s eyes, discusses the findings and provide various options. Any Surgery that may be required is performed at the Morningside clinic, and if there is a need for a pair of spectacles, there is a standing arrangement with opticians in Sandton. The other good thing about this practice is the respect for time - which is rare in this profession. PS Dr Daniel is also highly transformational as the office is managed only by females!
