Avoid Standard Trust Ltd like the plague. They have been administrators of my late father's will trust since 1978. These people are morally bereft. The grief they have caused me and my family is unspeakable. It shatters my heart that my late father entrusted them with what was his.

Please DO NOT rely on Standard Bank for Estates and Wills. They charge far more than real accountants and they are useless. When I say useless, I mean useless. They do not respond to e-mails and If you require any documentation or work to be done you will need to beg and plead it. it will not be a quick or easy process. Support small companies that actually deserve the income.

I have never encountered a slower, more shockingly indifferent to customer needs organization. No calls answered, no mails answered for months. I make personal attendances on their plush offices. I am polite, I emphasize that the estate of my mother, a minor estate, has taken over two years to move at all. Still nothing happens. No funds are distributed, no actions taken, an entirely hopeless bunch of unprofessional people. I ask myself, are they corrupt?
