On the spur of the moment we decided to pop in for lunch at LUST Bistro & Bakery, located on the beautiful Vrede & Lust Wine Estate. They have a nice outside area perfect for warm days, but there is also an inside seating area for the colder ones. We decided to sit outside and I was glad to see that they had misters which helped to cool us down. Their menu has a range of different options available as well as wines from the farm which is always nice. We got a bottle of Rosé to share for the table and I opted for their beef burger for lunch. It tasted nice and fresh, and the others in the group also enjoyed their meals. The service was also good, the waitress was friendly and I am very glad that we decided to pop in.

Breakfast at Lust Bistro was an amazing experience for us. Not only was their food delicious, but the service was amazing. Jenny went out of her way to bring our breakfast to the kids play area when she saw how busy our little boy is. This was really the best service that we have experienced at any restaurant in a while! We will definitely be back.

Surprisingly Lust Bistro and Bakery was open today for lunch after we searched severeal restaurants in rhe area that was xcloses due to covid19. The waiters are very friendly. All tables and chairs arw disinfected before you sit down. They even wrap your cutlery in a sealed plastic bag to prevent any contamination. We ordered thw 28cm Canjun chicken pizza to share and washes it down with redreshing local craft beer on tap. Though the pizza was delicious for is it ia not worth paying R150. Why? Few small piecea if chicken, thin filling and half an avo in rhe middle. We also saw some of the burgers they served at R150. Hmmm bit prizy according to us. Coffee is very nice and strong. The red velvet cake is a bit dry and I personally dis nor like the fresh cream feisting on top and inbetween the cake layers. My partner enjoyed his baked cheese cake. The slices tiny for the usual R45 per slice. The wine tasting area looks relaxing with a nice view of the mountains and you can take a relaxing stroll through their beautiful garden.

Lust is favourited on my Google Maps for breakfast for a while now. I always enjoy the food and I always have good service here, but yesterday Simon gave us the best service ever. I recommend the Eggs Florentine for breakfast and my fiancé enjoyed his burger. Also try the freshly squeezed juices ;) Compliments to the chef! I am looking forward to my next visit

We popped in for breakfast. Such friendly and accommodating service. We loved the fact that you can design your own brekkie by choosing from an a la carte menu exactly what to eat (e.g. eggbacon, no tomato, etc.) which makes it easy to manage dietary requirements and all palates. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Had wonderful breakfast followed by Belgian chocolate cake and coffee. Wow! Service was excellent, thanks Francisca! Food was excellent and the "build your own breakfast" option is novel. Hidden gem!
