The Walter Battis art museum was exceptionally interesting and fun. The receptionist/guide was very friendly and welcoming. It is a real gem for Somerset East and the only tourist attraction open on Saturdays! Make sure to watch the documentary offered.

Brilliant collection of Battis works! Great info about the area, a must stop if you're in the area. The lovely lady who runs the museum and Tourism info will even open specially for you - by appointment - on public holidays and weekends.
