Anura is one of the many farms in the Stellenbosch area known for their good wines. As you arrive at the farm you have a relaxing, scenic drive to the wine tasting center, showing off the beauty of the farm. The tasting center has inside seating, which is nice and cozy during winter, as well as an outside seating area giving you a great view of their gardens and the pond with a fountain inside, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. There are also numerous frog-themed decorations scattered around as the frog is the emblem of the farm, which also makes for nice photo opportunities. They have different tasting options ranging from their entry level wines to their premium range, giving you a nice selection of what they have to offer. You can also order some wine and even a cheese platter if you want something to nibble on while relaxing and enjoying their wine. The wine was good though our server was very new so the presentation sometimes felt a bit scripted, but he was still learning and we still enjoyed our tasting.

Highly recommend. Of all the farms we went wine tasting, Anura had better wines and was much more cheaper! It's also the one we enjoyed most. You could skip all and just got to Anura. The farm is very well maintained, they had a variety of cheese as well. Our cheese platter and wine combo was pretty good. Other than that, they also sell flavourful sauces to complement your meals. We definitely bought a couple.

We went for a late afternoon wine tasting. You can choose from 5 whites or 5 reds or mixed.R40 is a good price but asking R65 for the most let down cheese plate of your life is not worth asking. Please come only for the wine and forget the cheese platter. With so many wine farms in the area they will have to step up or ship out in the presentation of the cheese platter. The wine was beautiful with good prices and only bummer was that the MCC was not for tasting and sorry but paying R190 for this and not being able to taste it...seriously? Next time I would like to do a beer tasting...looks promising

Definitely one of our favorite wine estates with a stunning restaurant. Nothing beats sitting in their beautiful garden under the trees eating their delicious pork belly and burgers, sipping on Wine, Gin and beer. We have been there quite a few times and their great service & delicious food is a constant.

Five stars for the Brie Cheese! I lived in Germany for a while. In Munich I fell in love with Brie. Returning to South Africa I've been on an endless venture in search for Brie. - The Brie I've fallen so deeply in love with in Germany. Disappointment after disappointment I've learned to settle for the "meh" Brie. Once in a while I discover a different Brie and it's good. Today I discovered your plain brie for the first time ever at Jasmyn in Hartbeespoortdam and it was beyond just "good." Had to fight my partner for the last piece. I won.

Great wine. Had to buy some limited bottles to take back home. Friendly and enjoyable host. We even got a tour inside the winery. Well worth a visit al though be aware of the frogs! ;)
