My son’s been staying at INK accommodation for the last two years. I can only compliment Management and especially the office staff for their professional service and 100% availability to assist, no matter the circumstance. The unit is top class, everything works and the complex is a well maintained safe haven for any student.
My godchild stayed at INK Studios. Although the brand new building went through some teething pains, the professional and caring management went above and beyond to ensure a safe, homely place for the students. I can absolutely recommend this for the discerning student.
Great place to stay if you're a student (especially engineering students). There is a spar across the road, as well as a dry cleaners. Also its close enough to campus that you can walk. takes about 15 minutes to walk to the engineering department and about 20 minutes to get to the rooi-plein.
I've lived here for 2 years. I've had my sink almost fall off the wall, my sliding door break in such a way that it wont close, as well as my blinds falling apart, tenants knowing the master code to get into any room. Management have parkings being rented out to none tenants. We've had security on duty that was seemingly drunk and management can take several days to reply to any questions or complaints, if at all. Also theres no laundry facilities, no promise of any being put in and our only option is very expensive laundromats which are very likely to shrink clothing. The walk to campus can also take 20 minutes.
Been staying here two years now... Poorly built - units are falling apart, in the time I've been here my blinds have broken, kitchen sink had such a bad leak it flooded my unit, kitchen lights broke (took management a year to fix), my bathroom door broke, I had a severe drain problem that also took management over a year to fix not to mention all the hooks falling off the walls. Rude management, extremely disorganised and unhelpful. No laundry facilities and no plan for future laundry facilities. All recommend laundries shrink and damaged clothing. Poor security - Security guard not present at gate at all hours and sometimes shows up drunk to work. Last year the mastercode for our units were let out to a group of boys who had access to our rooms the whole year. On one occasion management was supposed to supervise a repair in my flat - my room was left unattended with the door wide open for the afternoon. Extremely overrated for price. Would not recommend.
