Our hardware has been battle tested in the war-zones of this world and now for the first time are being made available to the civilian public, featuring military grade performance and reliability, mated with all the digital connectivity and versatility the contemporary entrepreneur could wish for. Our systems are fully ITAR compliant and in line with the Republic of South Africa's Civil Aviation Standards; Also Scout Sec has an export licence for its equipment and has the sole distribution licence for its hardware in Southern Africa. Our story started with the wish to create a fully integrated drone system, which is equally performing as affordable, in the wake of pending ratification of SACAA Appendix 101, which governs all Remote Piloted Aircraft operations - To this day the only comparable piece of legislation in the world. Annoyed and frustrated with the lack of flexibility and vision from the bigger players in the aerospace sector in making a move in emerging drone markets in early 2016 we took the matter into our own hands. If we weren't able to buy what we needed to do business with, we had to create it ourselves. And so the story took its course. We started off with the dream of an easier, more reliable and less confusing way of operating UAVs. This adventure took us to the most unlikely places to complete our trifecta of ergonomics, versatility and cutting-edge industrial design; Nothing less. A year later we're disposing over a fleet of fantastic equipment, developed by the tasks to take on and the people who'll spend the most time using them; Pilots and clients. Welcome to Scout Sec.
