Definately not for animal lovers as the enclosures are extremely small. We went on a hot day and there is not enough shade or water holes for the animals. The restaurant is lovely though. Peaceful and the pizzas are delicious. Awesome gardens and pond to relax at.

Always a nice place to chill in the garden, have a drink and a bite to eat. Unfortunately, due to Lockdown and the South African Government's war against alcohol, we were not able to sample any of the wines the farm produces. Hopefully we'll be able to do this at the next visit. Besides the Big Cat Reserve, they've now added a petting zoo. I love the big cats, but if you have little ones and you're looking for a place to visit, definitely consider Vredenheim.

Worth a visit and definitely if animal lovers, very kiddie friendly. Big Cat section was amazing and the farm yard too sweet, very friendly goats and lovely play area. Restaurant was excellent.

Great gin. Great wine. Food menu is limited due to covid but still delicious and a little varied. The main attraction are the lions, white tigers, leopards and bengals.

This was my first big cat experience which I throughly enjoyed. The guide who took our group around was well informed and answered all our questions with satisfying and helpful insight to the lives of these big cats. The entrance is beautiful, it almost feels as thought you are driving to something that's hidden. This farm is massive and all the animals are well taken care off. The animals are so beautiful, they are kept safe from anyone hurting them and them from hurting anyone. I would say the best part of this was the feeding time, which normally takes places at 11am or 3pm. It's the best time to get up and personally but of course not too personal with the cats. I would recommend this place to families, schools, or just anyone who wants a knowledgeable experience of these beautiful cats.

We had a lunch there, outside under the trees. Beautiful setting. Our food was excellent, 4 different meals for 4 of us and we were all happy (pizza with thin crust, steak properly made medium and grilled white fish not too dry nor watery). The only thing I would ask to try to change the coffee could be better...either the machine or the coffee something was not right. But is is a minor issue as everything else was great! Staff attentive and kind! Thank you!

Location is beautiful, we only went to see the big cats, and at first they were just laying around, so we couldn't see much of them but after a while, they came right up to the fence and it was amazing, I would suggest going with the tour guide(very informative)
