The history of Likoebe Innovation consultants traces back to when King Shaka Zulu innovated the short spear that he used to fight in many battles. His idea was that the long spear was not as effective as having a shorter one which gave one more strength & power of use. Years later, Likoebe became the symbol of the role education plays in society when a Sesotho poet K.D Maphalla compared Koebe to education, in the poem ‘Tlhaka ya Basotho.’ Today the spears of war, have become spears piercing open the heart of innovation. The company was founded in 2015, from a 1999 dream – to offer the world ideas that could transform lives for the better..
