The Mighty Apies River Campsite is one of the best school / training / group / church campsites I know! There are so many things to do. Going on a game drive, 4x4 trail and even feeding a donkey. The owner lives near the tents if there is any emergency. There is a chalet and many tents a huge center hall with a stage. There is a soccer field, mini golf course, basketball court and a big strong river close by. The obstacles course is good competition and brings teamwork into action! I would recommend this place for any team building activities or massive groups of children. There is enough space for group leaders to sleep with their groups in a secure tent with a lot of bunker beds inside. The food is also amazing, their is a Boma for campfire and relaxation.

Mighty Apies is a great venue on the banks of the Apies River. It is a big venue with fantastic potential. There is lots of space. They cater for small to larger groups. There are some sports fields and some farm animals. There is a big thatched roof venue and various smaller venues available. It is close to Pretoria and the access roads are in a fairly good condition.

Lovely camp sight. The Apies River runs alongside it and there are ducks in a pond that are quite interesting to watch. The camping tents are nice and well maintained. The stable rooms need proper doors and windows that fit into the frames properly to keep the air out and heaters would be nice in those rooms.

A really nice venue especially for school groups to do leadership development and team building. They boast a huge lapa, probably the biggest I've ever seen with neat tented accommodation. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great.
