5 stars for location if you're looking to bird the Woodbush Forest early in the morning! Budget camping more than satisfactory and the most hospitable and welcoming staff.

AMAZING budget accommodation in Magoesbaskloof! Don't pass this spot up if you're in the area, looking for adventure and don't have a fortune to spend! Great communication from hosts 2 restaurants on the property, plus scenic walks.

HORRIBLE! Firstly this place is poorly marked. When we actually got to our accommodation (a cottage) the stairs were SO steep and close to impossible to climb and especially descend safely. The outside deck was falling apart. Staff were rude. We actually had to forfeit our money after a 6hr drive as my wife and I couldn't bear to stay here. We ended up driving to hoedspruit and having the best time. I cannot see how they actually get such a high rating.

Enjoyed our stay at the R&R Cottage. I loved that it looked just like it does on the website (no false advertising). Very clean and spacious. Surrounded by nature. Loved the sound of birds in the morning. Friendly staff too. Amazing accommodation for the price you pay.

The restaurant was very nice with a funky vibe. The accommodation on the lower part had no braai area (stands) and the kitchen was far from the rooms

I was welcomed with such enthusiasic warmth. The stuff is very friendly & hospitable. It's a very peaceful place up the mountain, away from rhe city noise, definitely ideal for backpackers, having your own bathroom was a bonus for me

Thank you to everyone who made our visit amazing. Euohoria, Jacob, Francois and Renske. Views for days. Lekker local restaurants with food soo good we raved about it Alot. Loads of things to do and see and enjoy. The cabin was simple yet comfortable for our needs. The boma burger was the bomb.Com and really nice gins to try. The communal kitchen has everything you need to make a yummy brekkie and coffee in the morning. The 1.5 k loop around walk is perfect and right on your door step. We wish we could stay longer, but will definitely be back. The farmstall across the road has really good brownies to for that midnight snack too.

Lovely Backpackers. We spent one night here with our kids and friends. Interesting, clean, comfortable accommodation. Beautiful views. Lovely staff. Delicious food on site for dinner. Lovely fresh artisanal bread and coffee and shop for breakfast. Good free wifi. If you are a climber - pack your harness and sling - there is a tree that you are going to want to climb ;)
