Mh & P and their excellent team of hardworking, dedicated and driven therapists have been my strength and support structure and have played an integral role through my recovery process. I suffered a severe stroke 2 years ago at the age of 30. This team of excellent therapists have been the next stepping stone through my recovery process, after spending 2 months at Entabeni Rehabilitation Centre. And by refferal from Entabeni. I contacted MH&P and have with their assistance gained the greatest thing I could have ever asked for in life and that was to walk again. I am still engaging in therapy sessions in order to gain the full use of my left hand again. They have really been there for me through my recovery process and I am so greatful to them for that.I would recommend and refer thus rehab team to anyone that requires rehabilitation. I fell down a 9m bank in Mozambique on 17 December, 2019. I was then airlifted from Imhambane airport to King shaka Airport, Durban where an ambulance was on the runway and I was taken to St. Augustines Hospital. First in Trauma ICU then ICU and the moved to the ward. I was in a full neck and body brace and discharged after a Physio did a minimal amount of Physiotheropy. I was discharged on 06 January, 2019 and then began doing physio with Catherine at MH&P, Umhlanga. I found Catherine to be efficient and most capable at her job. Unfortunately we run out of Medical Aid and I am now walking with the aid of a stick. I have had a few stumbles, but am doing all the exercises that she so kindly drew for me. Last week I over did things and now have lower back and hip pain. Catherine has sent me some stretching exercises to do to relieve the pain. I would have no hesitation in recommending MH&P. I am very grateful for what Catherine did for me.
