Very quiet market possibly due to Civid restrictions. Extremely windy and a bit dead halfway through the day after we arrived at 10am. It needs some upbeat music (at least now and then to offset the lovely friendly man with his limited and continuously looped penny whistle recital) Perhaps more signage in the street. The organisers shouldn't collect money for the stalls if they arent actively promoting the market. If they arent promoting because they are collecting too little money perhaps they need to collect a bit more rather and do more active marketing to the benefit of the stalls that will stimulate more interest/traffic and create a more steady flow of customers. If you mainly have customers in the morning perhaps promote a happy hour midway through with live music from various keen local artists who are craving exposure. Then customers might come early for the best produce and stay longer to enjoy the live music and make a longer day of it.

Good food, very delicious will be back for the food!! Veg is very fresh, glass wear is nice, my wife picked up a good dress, a fruit juice and the fish and. Eggs are fresh.. Good variety of things.. But u guys need bins to put our dirt in, also I didn't see any toilets I urinated in the bush I was later told by a store holder. The toilets are in the police station.. A notice should go up to inform people that the toilets are open to the public at the station next door. Also no taps to wash hands after eating brownie cakes Pls pls improve on the above.

The market is an overall good experience . The stalls are amazing especially the aunty that sells the samoosas , fresh fruit and vegetables. The market is really nice, however the following definitely needs to be taken into consideration for improvement: As a public event toilets should be made available at the market , Its much of an effort to leave the market to go to the nearest toilets , taps and water supply needs to be implemented , food is sold at the market but no place to wash your hands.. With money been collected from the stalls should go towards improving the event like cutting the grass .

The market is a fair experience. Coming from cape town the Durban experience was good , Good food but I could not find Durban authentic spices and pickles . I picked up fresh vegetables , A delicious Durban Chilli sauce , delicious brownies and a few small glass wear. However I did not see any bins , neither did i see any toilets or hand wipes or taps to wash your hands after eating , as well as it was a hot day. I will visit again on my next visit to Durban

This was my first visit. Got there just after 08:00 while storeholders were setting up. Good range of edibles e.g. fresh vegetables and fruit, cookies, eggs , cheeses, curry snacks such as different flavors of samosas and breyani. Also some household detergents and small range of hardware. A few bric a brac items also. Worth it for the early morning Wednesday outing. Prices are very reasonable.
