️ Umhlanga Rocks Beach with its beautiful locations, the promenade, main beach and kilometers of beaches north- and southwards (almost til Durban), a must do at all seasons, but I very like March to June. Good weather conditions and less tourists , but Easter. Walking, lingering at all times of a day on the promenade and/or walking along the beach , due to the weather bathing or at least holding your tip of your feet in the water. I liked to have an early morn walk through the uMhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve in the North. A little bit of jungle atmosphere and finally hearing the roaring sound of the Indic ( esp. at high tide), running downstairs through the sand aheading the breakers. Simply the best.

Its great, make sure you get a nice spot, the beach gets very busy. Early morning or afternoon runs on the beach are great. Lifeguard area is clearly marked, there is lots of spaces for fishing also. Nothing beats the ocean breeze.
uMhlanga Promenade is a perfect place for a leisurely walk.
Great beach. Clean and safe. Lots of restaurants. Always a pleasure!
Well deserving of its blue flag status.
Beautiful for running, tanning or just meeting up with friends
The litter is terrible. You end up swimming with plastic bags wrapped around your legs. One would think that given the world's current stance on ocean litter, that they would of done something about this. It's really really bad.
A beach with so many dynamics. Don't visit in peak times as with any beach.
